Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Black Jam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nakata Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Black Jam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nakata Ko! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jam shoots in but Ko avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ko drives through with a takedown into guard. Jam trying to control the position.
Ko trying to control the position from guard on top but Jam is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ko throws and elbow that misses. Jam uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ko's guard. Nice move by Jam! Ko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ko keeping moving, preventing Jam from controlling successfully. Jam has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jam is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jam sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jam trying to control but Ko is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Ko is in the full mount, landing strikes.
It looks like Black Jam has been cut. Jam tries to hold on but Ko postures up. Ko wants to control the pace but Jam is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ko raining down shots from the mount! Jam wants to control but Ko is having none of it. Ko punching from mount but Jam doing a good job of avoiding damage. Jam is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ko sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Jam wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ko with good strikes from the mount here! Ko punishing his opponent with strikes. Jam tries to hold on but Ko pushes him away. Ko pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Jam wants to hold on but Ko pushes him away. Jam can't escape the position.
Jam is breathing heavily. Ko misses with a head shot. Ko thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Jam is looking to improve his position but Ko isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ko with shots to the head and body - Jam looks very uncomfortable down there. Ko unloads with some shots from mount but Jam bucks and avoids them well.
Ko postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jam looks a forlorn figure.
The referee warns Jam that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Ko lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jam hang on? Ko controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nakata Ko dominated that round. The cut man is working on Black Jam's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ko tries for a takedown but Jam circles away easily and Jam counters with a takedown into side control. Jam controls the position. Jam trying to control the action but Ko is working from the bottom. Ko struggling a bit here. Jam wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ko keeps working. Ko tries to buck Jam off but Jam is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jam swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jam throws a head kick but Ko moves out of range.
Ko shoots in for a takedown but Jam shows good takedown defense. Ko connects with a body shot. Jam shoots and misses and Ko counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jam is lucky that one didn't land flush. Black Jam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ko misses with a takedown and Jam counters with a shoot takedown. Ko fights it but they end up in guard. Black Jam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nakata Ko. Ko wants to sweep but no luck. Jam trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ko looking for a sweep. Not yet Ko, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jam tries to stand but Ko is controlling from the bottom. Ko keeping moving, preventing Jam from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ko is on top in guard.
Ko with a flurry of punches that miss. Ko stands and throws Jam's legs to the side, diving into side control. You can see the frustration on Jam's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jam wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The referee asks Ko politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ko prefers to stall for the moment though. Ko working the head with strikes. Ko creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Jam is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ko misses with the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jam managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ko.
Ko in side control, throwing shots but Jam defends. Ko working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Ko working the ground and pound but Jam is defending the strikes. Sloppy strikes there by Ko. Ko is chipping away with strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Black Jam dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Black Jam's cut. That's time! Jam's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Ko gets a takedown into half guard. Ko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ko sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jam defending well though. Ko wants to pass to mount but Jam is defending the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ko throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ko wants to take a breather but Jam is having none of it. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jam keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ko prevents Jam from standing back up.
Ko with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jam doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ko counters with a shoot takedown. Jam fights it but they end up in guard. Ko wants to control from the top but Jam keeps moving. Ko working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jam keeping moving, preventing Ko from controlling successfully. Ko stands up over Jam, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Ko throwing strikes from guard but Jam blocks nicely. Ko thows a big elbow that misses. Ko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ko connects with a looping right hand.
Ko fails with the takedown. Jam shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ko counters with a single leg into guard. Jam didn't expect that. Ko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ko with a flurry of punches that miss. Ko wants to control from the top but Jam keeps moving. Ko not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Nakata Ko has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ko is in close to Jam's body, working some short punches and elbows. Jam is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jam is trying to keep Ko in close.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ko looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
And that's the end of the fight! Nakata Ko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
