Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JohnAmund Skaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miles Granville (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Skaar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Number of the Beast. Miles Granville will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skaar looks to throw the jab but Granville is out of range.
Skaar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Skaar lands strikes from half guard.
Skaar sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Skaar drops an elbow to the side of Granville's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Granville on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Granville manages to get to full guard.
Skaar wants to control from the top but Granville keeps moving.
Skaar stands up over Granville, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Skaar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Granville on the ground.
Skaar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Granville is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Skaar is aware though and is defending well.
Granville looks gassed!
Skaar stands up over Granville, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Skaar content to stall in guard here.

Skaar wants to control from the top but Granville keeps moving.
Granville has momentary wrist control but Skaar slips an elbow through the middle.
Skaar lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Skaar lands a couple of digs.
Skaar's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Skaar passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Skaar in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Check out the look on Skaar's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Skaar looks up at the clock and then as Granville takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Skaar smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Granville takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Skaar working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Granville is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big shot lands for Skaar! That's hurt Granville! Will he recover? Skaar fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
