Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mickey ONeill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ONeill comes to the cage accompanied by "This Is England" by The Clash. Cain Dos Santos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mickey ONeill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dos Santos showed some decent athleticism there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Dos Santos drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and ONeill dives on top into guard.
ONeill slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
You can see the frustration on Dos Santos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
ONeill is looking to take a break and control but Dos Santos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

ONeill has control of an arm but Dos Santos manages to advance to ONeill's back!
Dos Santos is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Dos Santos gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Dos Santos gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Dos Santos apologises and we restart here on the feet.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dos Santos is trying to drag ONeill to the mat but ONeill just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

That's time! ONeill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dos Santos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around ONeill's waist but ONeill gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dos Santos off to one side.

Dos Santos looks to land a strike but ONeill avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mickey ONeill.
I think Dos Santos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
