Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Long Duck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko has chosen Казаки - Ой Да as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Long Duck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Duck as he avoids it easily.
Emelianenko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Emelianenko fails to land with a series of punches.
Emelianenko swinging wildly here.
Emelianenko fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
No luck for Emelianenko with that takedown attempt.
Long Duck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Emelianenko.
Emelianenko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A punch combination from Duck misses.

Duck closes the distance and pushes Emelianenko back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Emelianenko has Duck pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Duck manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Emelianenko turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Emelianenko thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Emelianenko looks gassed!
Duck pushes Emelianenko away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Emelianenko gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Emelianenko is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Duck has escaped the position, nice work there.

Emelianenko tries for a kimura but Duck is defending well.
Duck is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Duck tries to escape but Emelianenko is in control.
Duck struggling a bit here.
Duck sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Duck on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Duck tries to get out of the position.
Emelianenko is pressing down on Duck's thigh, looking to free his foot. Duck is holding on for now.
Duck is trying to stand up here but Emelianenko is controlling him well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Emelianenko.
Duck misses with a two punch combination.
Emelianenko shoots in but Duck avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Duck shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Duck showed some decent athleticism there.
Duck knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Emelianenko on the ground.

Duck will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Emelianenko is pressing down on Duck's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Emelianenko had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Duck defends it easily.
Duck has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Duck trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Emelianenko looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Duck scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Emelianenko keeping moving, preventing Duck from controlling successfully.
Duck tries to free his leg and advance position but Emelianenko is retaining full guard.
Emelianenko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Duck!
Duck is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Emelianenko has taken his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Emelianenko is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Emelianenko working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Duck is doing well to defend. Emelianenko seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Duck is forced to tap and this one is over!
