Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Ferreira with that takedown attempt.
Ferreira fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Decimus avoids it really well and circles away.
Decimus misses with an uppercut. Ferreira saw that one coming.
Decimus throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Decimus jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Decimus lands a lovely overhand right.
Decimus tried to score with a low kick but Ferreira checks it.
Oooh a lovely combination from Decimus sends Ferreira down but not out. Decimus dives into side control looking to finish.

Ferreira seems a little lost for a moment, as Decimus dominates the positioning.

Decimus moves in looking to clinch but Ferreira pushes him off.

Decimus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Decimus stalks Ferreira and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ferreira's face. Ferreira staggers backwards, shaken.
Ares Decimus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Decimus drops Ferreira with a left and a right! Oh, Ferreira is hurt - Decimus dives into side control looking to finish!
Decimus has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
A jab from Decimus finds it's way through Ferreira's defenses.

and Ferreira counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Decimus!
Decimus is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ferreira trying to control but Decimus is having none of it.

Poor strikes thrown by Ferreira there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Ferreira just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
