Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arturas Valantanavich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenzo Nakata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arturas Valantanavich has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Arturas Valantanavich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenzo Nakata! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valantanavich tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nakata swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nakata stuffs the takedown. Valantanavich shoots in for a takedown but Nakata shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Valantanavich fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arturas Valantanavich. That's going to take a lot out of him. Valantanavich is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nakata sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nakata fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Valantanavich gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nakata to score an easy takedown into full guard. Nakata stays in close to Valantanavich's body and controls the position.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nakata can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nakata stays in close to Valantanavich's body and controls the position. Valantanavich is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nakata is aware though and is defending well. Nakata showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Despite being in the dominant position, Kenzo Nakata just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Valantanavich has his takedown stuffed and Nakata counters with a nice double leg into guard. Valantanavich looking for a sweep. Not yet Valantanavich, not yet. Nakata controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Valantanavich will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Valantanavich is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Arturas Valantanavich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valantanavich gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Nakata counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

And that's the end of the fight! Kenzo Nakata comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nakata has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
