Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kennedy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Hardcastle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane comes to the cage accompanied by Hurt. Alexander Hardcastle is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane looks to score with a jab to the body but Hardcastle is just out of range.

Kane moves into the clinch.
Kane content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hardcastle tries to pull guard but Kane holds him up against the cage and eventually Hardcastle drops back down to his feet.

Kane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kane stuffs the takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Kane as Hardcastle shoots in.
Kennedy Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Hardcastle.
Kane swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kane fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hardcastle.

Kane has closed the distance and engaged Hardcastle in a clinch.
Hardcastle fails to pull guard.

Kane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kane tries a head kick but it misses.
Hardcastle blocks a head kick by Kane.
Hardcastle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kane circles away.
Kane throws a right hand that Hardcastle ducks under and follows up with a left that Hardcastle also avoids with ease.
Hardcastle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kane as he jumps to the side.
Kane throws a head kick that misses.
Kane cracks Hardcastle with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kane looks to throw the jab but Hardcastle is out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Horrible takedown by Hardcastle or perhaps it was just good defense by Kane which made him look bad.
Hardcastle walks into a jab.
Hardcastle takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hardcastle tries for a takedown but Kane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hardcastle looks gassed!
Some wild striking there from Kane.

Kane gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Hardcastle letting Kane take a breather here.
Kane wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hardcastle has him pressed against the cage.
Hardcastle tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kane gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hardcastle.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kane.

Kane breaks the clinch.
Hardcastle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hardcastle shoots in for a takedown but Kane shows good takedown defense.
Kane fails to land with a series of punches.

Kane shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hardcastle's guard.
Hardcastle is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kane is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hardcastle pushes Kane off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Hardcastle fails with the takedown

and Kane counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hardcastle won't be happy with that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hardcastle pushes Kane away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kane gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Hardcastle throws Kane to one side and escapes!

Hardcastle forces Kane back against the cage and clinches.

Hardcastle works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Hardcastle wants to get up but he can't break Kane's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Kane looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hardcastle decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Hardcastle misses with a takedown
and Kane counters with a solid body kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Hardcastle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kane looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hardcastle stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Kane sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Hardcastle to the ground! Kane dives into full mount looking to finish!

Hardcastle is rocked!
Kane lands a big shot there that rocks Hardcastle but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hardcastle is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Kane postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hardcastle looks a forlorn figure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kane looking to control but Hardcastle is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Kane wants to control the pace but Hardcastle is squirming around nicely.

Kane throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Hardcastle has his hands clasped together but Kane breaks the hold and Hardcastle is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Kane!
