Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Amanda Munroe!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munroe shoots in and bounces THOMPSON off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
THOMPSON looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Munroe won't allow THOMPSON to sweep him here.
Munroe tries to free his leg and advance position but THOMPSON is retaining full guard.
THOMPSON could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
THOMPSON avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Munroe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Munroe wants to control from the top but THOMPSON keeps moving.
Munroe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. THOMPSON is keeping the position for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
THOMPSON with a lazy takedown attempt
and Munroe counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends THOMPSON down! Munroe is looking to finish but THOMPSON is intelligently defending himself.
Munroe loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Munroe trying to control but THOMPSON is working from the bottom.
Munroe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Munroe stands up and waves to THOMPSON to follow him.

THOMPSON misses with a takedown
and Munroe counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple THOMPSON!
THOMPSON is rocked!
THOMPSON is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Munroe has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Munroe lands a nice shot to the head.
Oh THOMPSON is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Munroe is going oldschool here, as he tries to force THOMPSON to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so THOMPSON shrugs it off.
THOMPSON seems to have got his legs back now.
Munroe takes THOMPSON's back.
Munroe is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Munroe is trying to stick to THOMPSON's back but THOMPSON is turning into Munroe. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Munroe's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by THOMPSON.

THOMPSON is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Munroe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in THOMPSON's guard.

Munroe working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of THOMPSON's head.
THOMPSON keeping full guard, as Munroe tries to pass.
Munroe avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Munroe wants to pass the guard but THOMPSON is keeping the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Munroe drops back, looking for a kneebar! THOMPSON looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. THOMPSON looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from THOMPSON!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

THOMPSON shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Munroe counters with a left to the body.
Munroe connects with a superb combination that knocks THOMPSON out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Munroe before he can land any more shots to the unconscious THOMPSON!
