The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A combination from Silva does no damage.
Gracie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Silva is looking to clinch.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva lands a lovely overhand right.
Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gracie dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.

Gracie tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch.
