Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Bison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimincio Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bison kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is M. Bison Theme. Mike Bison could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dimincio Ortiz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Bison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dimincio Ortiz! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz tries to clinch but Bison is having none of it. Oooh a lovely combination from Bison sends Ortiz down but not out. Bison dives into side control looking to finish.
It looks like Dimincio Ortiz has been cut. Bison wants to control but Ortiz is keeping him busy. Bison controls the position. Bison wants to control for a moment but Ortiz uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Bison slows the pace down in half guard. Bison is looking for a kimura here.
Bison perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ortiz won't allow Bison to pass to mount. Bison is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ortiz is just riding it out for now. Bison eventually gives up the hold. Bison wants to take a breather but Ortiz is having none of it. Bison is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ortiz looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ortiz is refusing to be controlled, as Bison sits in half guard. Bison is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ortiz is just riding it out for now. Bison eventually gives up the hold. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Mike Bison just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Bison closes the distance and lands a one-two. Bison looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bison will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ortiz wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ortiz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bison swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ortiz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bison throws a jab but it's blocked by Ortiz. The fighters circling - Bison throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bison avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ortiz takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ortiz is rocked! Ortiz walks straight into a right hand from Bison - that's dropped him! Bison jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ortiz from any more punishment! Ortiz complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mike Bison!
