Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
mustaine could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
mustaine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ortiz tries to avoid it but mustaine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ortiz to the ground. Ortiz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
mustaine gets caught flat footed, as Ortiz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
mustaine wants to sweep here but Ortiz controlling him for the moment.
mustaine punching from the bottom.
Ortiz trying to control the position from guard on top but mustaine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
mustaine looking for a sweep. Not yet mustaine, not yet.
Ortiz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ortiz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ortiz shoots and misses
and mustaine counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by mustaine.
mustaine wants to control from the top but Ortiz keeps moving.
mustaine throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
mustaine got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ortiz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, mustaine has managed to get both his arms back between Ortiz's legs - danger averted.
mustaine tries to free his leg and advance position but Ortiz is retaining full guard.
mustaine decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ortiz!

Ortiz lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ortiz.
This has been an exciting period of action!
mustaine misses with a takedown attempt
and Ortiz counters with a left and a right... And another left! mustaine is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
