Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clydee Forte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Forte comes to the cage accompanied by Psycho Holiday. Schultz has chosen Proven (Hatebreed) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Clydee Forte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Schultz! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schultz throws a looping overhand right but Forte ducks down to avoid it. Schultz throws out a loose jab but Forte uses good head movement to avoid it. Schultz throws a right and a left that Forte avoids nicely. Schultz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Forte shoots in but Schultz avoids the takedown attempt easily. Schultz's corner calls for a 1-2. Schultz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Schultz misses with a wild combination.
Schultz works Forte's body with a nice hook. Forte slips under a jab. Schultz throws a series of punches but Forte moves out of range. Forte tries to move into range but Schultz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Left hook, right uppercut from Schultz.
It looks like Clydee Forte has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schultz scores with a jab to the head.
Schultz lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Schultz misses with a few strikes there.
Forte misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Forte on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Schultz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Forte wants to pass the guard but Schultz is keeping the position. Forte slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Schultz struggling a bit here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Schultz can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Forte thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Schultz stops Forte from passing to mount. Forte working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Forte is breathing heavily. Schultz is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forte lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Schultz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Forte wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Schultz manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Forte sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Schultz defending well though. Schultz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Forte. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Schultz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Forte is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Schultz trying to control here.
Schultz tries to roll over but Forte keeps him under control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Forte tries for a takedown but Schultz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clydee Forte. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Schultz throws a good cross that connects.
Forte walks into a stiff left hand from Schultz. Schultz fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Schultz dominated that round. The cut man is working on Clydee Forte's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Schultz scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Forte doesn't seem bothered though. Schultz lands a nice looking body shot.
Schultz moves into range and connects with a jab. Forte moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Schultz scores with a hook to the body. Forte takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Schultz scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Schultz thuds his right hand into Forte's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Clydee Forte's cut is getting worse. Schultz works the jab nicely. Schultz drops Forte with a beautiful combination! Forte stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Schultz is looking for the KO! Schultz lands a hook that stumbles Forte back into the cage. Schultz follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Forte to the canvas! Schultz pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Forte has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
