Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randall Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the cage accompanied by Deep End. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randall Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dante Woods! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woods lands a nice shot to the body.
Woods ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harris moves away. Woods dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Woods shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Harris pinned against the cage. Harris gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Woods throws an overhand right that lands on Harris's shoulder, as Harris tries to avoid the shot. Harris is looking to land body kicks. Woods throws a series of punches but Harris moves out of range. A slapping leg kick lands for Harris.
Woods looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Woods moves out of range of the body kick. Woods throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Harris sees it coming and avoids it easily. Horrible takedown by Woods or perhaps it was just good defense by Harris which made him look bad. Harris clinches. Harris misses with a knee strike.

Woods manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A nice leg kick lands there from Harris. Harris throws a half hearted mid kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick from Harris lands but Woods takes it in his stride. Woods lands a jab to Harris's midsection. A slapping body kick lands there for Harris. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Harris pushes Woods up against the cage in a clinch. Harris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Harris slips a jab from Woods. Woods fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woods rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harris moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Woods punishes Harris's body with a nice straight punch. Harris uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Woods.
Woods fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Harris on the side of the head. Woods catches Harris with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nice straight punches there by Woods. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Woods. Harris looks to land a body kick but Woods moved away. Harris misses with a head kick.

Woods sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Woods takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Harris goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Harris tries to land a front kick but Woods steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Harris buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Woods fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Harris avoids it really well and circles away. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Woods crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Harris - the referee stops the clock and Woods gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Harris. Woods manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Dante Woods has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight! Randall Harris showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Harris, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
