The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Genesse connects with a jab.
Genesse closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Genesse's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Genesse connects with a single shot there.
HAMMER throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Genesse's waist but Genesse gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing HAMMER off to one side.
Genesse instigates a clinch.
Genesse prevents a takedown attempt there.
Genesse will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning HAMMER up against the cage.
The crowd are getting on Genesse's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

and Genesse counters with a body kick.

Genesse connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent HAMMER tumbling to the canvas! Genesse pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! HAMMER was done - good stoppage!
