Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Bridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Mosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, John Bridge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ted Mosby! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bridge forces Mosby back against the cage and clinches. Bridge breaks the clinch.
Bridge shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Bridge looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Bridge with the ground and pound from mount. Bridge lands a heavy elbow. Bridge landing shots from mount. Bridge jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mosby manages to avoid the submission attempt. Mosby tries to improve position but can't. Mosby sneaks back into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bridge thows a huge punch but Mosby dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bridge prevents Mosby from improving his position. Bridge takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mosby keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bridge escapes and gets back to his feet. Bridge shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mosby napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bridge decides to take the fight back to the feet. Ted Mosby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mosby takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bridge with a body punch. A glancing blow. Mosby fails with the takedown and Bridge counters with a single leg into guard. Mosby didn't expect that. This has been an exciting period of action! Bridge postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bridge throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mosby utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bridge working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bridge lands a couple of decent looking shots. Bridge thows a big elbow that misses. Bridge drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mosby dives on top into guard. Mosby trying to control the position from guard on top but Bridge is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mosby drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bridge dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bridge decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Bridge throws a head kick but Mosby moves out of range.
Bridge throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mosby tries for a takedown but Bridge circles away easily and Bridge counters with a left and a right that stings Mosby. Bridge tries a head kick but it misses.
Bridge has Mosby up against the cage in a clinch.
Mosby tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
John Bridge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ted Mosby. Mosby fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bridge crunches a lovely knee into Mosby's ribcage. Bridge scores a nice knee to the body.
Mosby looks gassed! Mosby takes a knee right on the jaw!
Mosby jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bridge walks away with a smile on his face. Mosby gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Mosby has his takedown stuffed and Bridge counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Bridge working over Mosby with some ground and pound. Mosby looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bridge is trying to work for a kimura but Mosby is defending well.
Bridge slips a nice elbow through Mosby's hands, connecting with Mosby's forehead. Bridge missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bridge performing his best blanket impression for a moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bridge wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mosby keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mosby doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bridge counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bridge sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bridge working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bridge preventing the sweep. Bridge landing with the ground and pound. Bridge wants to stand and escape but instead Mosby has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Bridge has Mosby pulled in close to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mosby thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mosby postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bridge is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mosby, into his guard. Bridge has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mosby looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bridge trying to control but Mosby is working from the bottom. Bridge postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mosby is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Mosby is looking for a kimura here.
Mosby tries to pass to full mount but Bridge defends it. Mosby is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bridge has managed to free his arm - good work. Mosby is breathing heavily. Bridge is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mosby's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mosby's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bridge lands punches and elbows. Bridge struggling to keep hold of the position.
John Bridge overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bridge lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Mosby is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bridge gets his way!
Mosby manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bridge's guard. Nice work there by Mosby.
Mosby wants to control from the top but Bridge keeps moving. Bridge looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mosby pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bridge is keeping the position for now. Bridge is looking to stand up but Mosby isn't so interested in that idea. Mosby drops back looking for a leg! Bridge is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bridge manages to kick Mosby off! Mosby jumps back into Bridge's guard. Mosby drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bridge dives on top into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bridge cracks Mosby with a solid left hand. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bridge's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Mosby escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bridge gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bridge is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Mosby takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bridge is in close to Mosby's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bridge working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Mosby can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bridge controls the pace. Bridge wants to control from the top but Mosby keeps moving. Bridge thows a big elbow that misses. Bridge working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mosby's head. Bridge is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Mosby working a defensive guard here.
Ted Mosby has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! John Bridge is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Bridge scoring with punches to the head and body. Bridge is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bridge would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Bridge tries to bum rush Mosby with a series of wild strikes but Mosby uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mosby closes the distance but Bridge moves to the side and Bridge counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bridge stalling.
And that's the end of the fight! John Bridge showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bridge has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
