Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lou Singer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rice has chosen AC/DC - Thunderstruck as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Steve Rice is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lou Singer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Rice! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singer is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rice.
It looks like Lou Singer has been cut. Rice misses with a double jab.
Nice body punch from Rice. Singer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rice but Rice pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rice throws a head kick but Singer moves out of range.
Rice attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Singer doesn't manage to clinch there - Rice circles away.
Rice smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Singer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rice as he jumps to the side. This has been an exciting period of action! Rice looks to land a body kick but Singer moved away. Steve Rice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rice does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Singer forces Rice back against the cage and clinches. Singer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lou Singer. That's going to take a lot out of him. A frustrated look appears on Rice's face as he tries to break the clinch. Rice breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No luck for Singer with that takedown attempt. Rice's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Rice duly obliges. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Singer. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Singer tries to move into range but Rice moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Lou Singer's cut is getting worse.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rice throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Singer fails to land the takedown. Singer is breathing heavily. Rice digs a good hook to Singer's body.
Steve Rice is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rice looks to land a combination but Singer avoids it well. Rice lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Rice punishes Singer's body with a nice straight punch. This has been an exciting period of action! Rice is looking to chop away at Singer's legs. Rice connects with a nice cross there... Singer is looking wobbly and Rice recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Singer to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Rice jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
