Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Connely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rami Stereo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Connely! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rami Stereo! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stereo misses with a hook. Stereo shoots for a double leg takedown but Connely sprawls well. He's pushed Stereo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Stereo slips a straight right by Connely. Stereo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Connely to the mat! Connely manages to get full guard. Stereo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stereo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Stereo trying to control but Connely is working from the bottom. Connely had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stereo defends it easily. Stereo distracts Connely with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Connely looking for a sweep. Not yet Connely, not yet. Stereo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Connely trying to keep a closed guard but Stereo is proving a slippery customer.
Stereo trying to control the position from guard on top but Connely is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Connely is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Stereo controlling from the top position. Connely pulls Stereo in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Stereo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Connely misses with a hook. Stereo ducked under it nicely. A swing and a miss from Connely. Connely leaves Stereo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Chris Connely has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rami Stereo. Connely throws out a loose jab but Stereo uses good head movement to avoid it. Connely scores with a hook.
It looks like Rami Stereo has been cut. Connely staying out of range there. Connely thows a left - swing and a miss! Stereo misses with a straight right. Connely shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stereo as he jumps to the side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stereo throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Connely moves away from the strike by Stereo. Connely misses with a two punch combination.
Connely throws a right and a left that both miss. Stereo has a takedown stuffed. Stereo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Connely. Chris Connely is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A telegraphed right hand from Stereo misses the target. Stereo fails with a takedown attempt. Stereo just misses with a punch to the body.
Stereo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stereo postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Connely is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stereo thows a big elbow that misses. Stereo looking to sit in guard and control but Connely gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stereo looking for a sweep. Not yet Stereo, not yet. Stereo thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Stereo lands a decent shot there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Connely advances to half guard. Connely sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stereo defending well though. Stereo is looking for a sweep. Connely is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rami Stereo will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Rami Stereo's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Stereo misses with a straight left. A swing and a miss from Stereo. Stereo connects with a body shot. Stereo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stereo lands in his opponent's guard. Connely trying to keep a closed guard but Stereo is proving a slippery customer.
Stereo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Connely works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Connely wants to sweep but no luck. Stereo is working Connely over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Connely is trying to keep Stereo in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stereo trying to control but Connely is working from the bottom. Stereo looking to sit in guard and control but Connely gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stereo is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Stereo cracks Connely with a solid left hand. Stereo trying to control the position from guard on top but Connely is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stereo landing with the ground and pound. Stereo throwing strikes from guard but Connely blocks nicely. Connely preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Connely pulls Stereo in close to prevent any damage. Stereo wants to control from the top but Connely keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Connely looks to throw the jab but Stereo is out of range. Stereo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Connely misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stereo.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stereo fails with a takedown attempt. Stereo has a takedown stuffed. Chris Connely is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Connely gets caught flat footed, as Stereo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Stereo looking to sit in guard and control but Connely gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stereo looking to control.
Stereo looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Connely puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Connely sitting and controlling from the half guard. Connely sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stereo defending well though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rami Stereo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Rami Stereo's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Stereo misses with a takedown attempt - Connely sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Stereo pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Stereo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Connely was well out of range. Poor timing from Stereo. Stereo dodges the punch combination from Connely.
No joy there for Connely, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Connely uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stereo. Connely tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Connely throws a hook but Stereo avoids it easily. The fighters circling - Connely throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Connely lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Connely. Stereo ducks under a wild hook from Connely. Connely looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Connely avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Connely will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Stereo misses with an uppercut. Stereo misses with a hook. Connely slaps away a takedown attempt from Stereo, before circling back to the center of the mat. Connely fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. No joy there for Stereo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Stereo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Connely. Connely gets caught flat footed, as Stereo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Stereo trying to control the position from guard on top but Connely is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Connely controls Stereo momentarily but Stereo frees himself. Stereo lands a couple of digs. Connely is looking for a triangle but Stereo pushes his legs off easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Stereo stopping the sweep attempt from Connely. Stereo postures up.

Stereo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rami Stereo has got the better of the ground game so far. Stereo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Connely throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stereo sees it coming and avoids it easily. Connely defending well as Stereo loads up on a big left hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Connely showed his dominance in that final round. I think Stereo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
