Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikola Lebedev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasuki Takura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikola Lebedev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sasuki Takura!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takura closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Lebedev regains half guard there - taking advantage of Takura's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Lebedev wants to control but Takura is keeping busy.
Takura trying to mount his opponent but Lebedev defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lebedev is staying active underneath Takura, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Lebedev is looking for a sweep. Takura is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Takura is working for a submission of some sort.
Takura wants to pass the guard but Lebedev is defending well.

Lebedev wants to take a breather but Takura manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Lebedev.

That was a close round but I would say that Mikola Lebedev will probably get the nod.
That's time! Lebedev's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Takura decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Takura is trying to control the action in half guard but Lebedev is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Takura wants to work for an arm triangle but Lebedev is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lebedev is looking to control Takura's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lebedev avoid being mounted?

Takura is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Lebedev counters with a nice double leg into side control. Takura won't be happy with that.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Takura is looking to reverse the position.
Lebedev is looking to take a break and control but Takura is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lebedev is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Takura is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Lebedev swings around for an armbar but Takura sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lebedev's guard.

Takura is stalling here. Lebedev is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Takura seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lebedev has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
