Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yamato Yoshimitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabian Gammad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshimitsu's entrance music is My Generation - Limp Bizkit. A fine choice. Yamato Yoshimitsu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Fabian Gammad's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yamato Yoshimitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fabian Gammad!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshimitsu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Yoshimitsu looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Yoshimitsu keeps the fight on the outside.
Gammad gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Yoshimitsu is pressed up against the cage. Gammad has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Yoshimitsu down to the mat. Yoshimitsu avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Yoshimitsu slips a jab and a cross from Gammad.
Gammad tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Yoshimitsu closes the distance but Gammad moves to the side
and Gammad counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gammad decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Gammad rushes Yoshimitsu and presses him up against the cage.
Yoshimitsu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gammad smiles and moves away.
Gammad circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gammad shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Yoshimitsu napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gammad has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Gammad doesn't manage to clinch there - Yoshimitsu circles away.
Yoshimitsu swats away the attempt to clinch by Gammad.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Gammad throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Gammad has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Yoshimitsu avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Yoshimitsu is trying to break the clinch but Gammad is controlling him.

Yoshimitsu darts in and clinches Gammad up against the cage.
Yoshimitsu's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Yoshimitsu tries to pull guard but Gammad holds him up against the cage and eventually Yoshimitsu drops back down to his feet.
Gammad wants to break free but Yoshimitsu has control.
Yoshimitsu stops a takedown attempt from Gammad.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gammad using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Yoshimitsu has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Gammad goes for a takedown in the clinch but Yoshimitsu prevents it.
Yoshimitsu stops a takedown attempt from Gammad.
Gammad pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Yoshimitsu closes the distance but Gammad moves to the side
and Gammad counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's time! Yoshimitsu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gammad keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Gammad closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Yoshimitsu pushes Gammad off looking to stand but Gammad dives back in and keeps control.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

I would just about give that final round to Fabian Gammad.
