Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bud Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basher moves in looking to clinch but Hunt pushes him off.

Basher has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hunt uses from the top position.

Basher takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Hunt fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Basher tries to lock up and control but Hunt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Basher is squirming around, avoiding Hunt's attempts to control the action.
Hunt lands a big shot there that rocks Basher but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Basher is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Hunt gets a clinch.
Hunt lands an elbow that stopped Basher in his tracks for a moment.

Hunt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hunt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
