Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elliot Corbeil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oba Martins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corbeil's entrance music is Immortal Technique - Dance With The Devil. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elliot Corbeil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oba Martins! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corbeil misses with an uppercut. Martins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Corbeil.
No luck for Martins with that takedown attempt. Martins showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Corbeil.
Martins moves out of range as Corbeil strikes. Corbeil scores with a body shot.
Martins fails in his attempt to clinch. Corbeil throws a big shot that misses. Martins closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Corbeil to the mat! Corbeil manages to get full guard. Martins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Corbeil manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Martins is wriggling around trying to escape.
Corbeil is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Martins can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Corbeil can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Martins is looking to escape. Corbeil unloading with bombs! Martins bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Martins drops back, looking for a kneebar! Corbeil looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Corbeil looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Corbeil!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martins gets back to half guard. Martins is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Martins looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Martins looks gassed! Martins gets back to full guard.
Corbeil slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Martins is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Martins tries to improve position but can't. Corbeil grinds an elbow into Martins's temple. Martins is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corbeil in side control, just content to control the action for now. Corbeil wants to control but Martins is keeping him busy. Corbeil slows the pace down. Martins gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Martins actively working from the bottom here. Corbeil is looking to advance position but Martins won't allow it. Corbeil wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martins keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Corbeil prevents Martins from improving his position. Corbeil wants to free his trapped foot but Martins is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Corbeil fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Martins looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Corbeil thuds his right hand into Martins's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Corbeil throws a series of punches but Martins moves out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Corbeil scores with the left hand. Martins knows he should have avoided that one. Elliot Corbeil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Corbeil looks to land a right hand but Martins moved out of range. Martins walks into a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elliot Corbeil dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Corbeil drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Martins right on the button. Martins goes down! Corbeil follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Corbeil gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Elliot Corbeil!
