Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lyle Alzado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakim Hamsho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alzado's entrance music is BLUNT- The Iron Maiden. A fine choice. Hamsho is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jump Around. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamsho lands with a nice body punch.
Alzado misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hamsho takes the fight into the clinch.
Alzado tries to pull guard but Hamsho holds him up against the cage and eventually Alzado drops back down to his feet.
Alzado gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Alzado working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alzado throws a big right hand that misses.
Hamsho can't keep his opponent in guard - Alzado advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hamsho wants to get back to his feet.
Hamsho makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hamsho.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alzado working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Alzado pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hamsho is keeping the position for now.

Hamsho bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Alzado's guard.
Alzado has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hamsho distracts Alzado with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Alzado is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Alzado is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hamsho defends well.
Alzado is breathing heavily.

Hamsho got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alzado has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hamsho has managed to get both his arms back between Alzado's legs - danger averted.

Alzado has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hamsho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Alzado is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Alzado circles away from the clinch attempt.
Alzado stuns Hamsho with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Alzado tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hamsho swivels and escapes.
Alzado lands with a hook. Hamsho tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hamsho gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Alzado.
Alzado avoids the head kick by Hamsho.
Alzado looks to land a left hand but Hamsho moved out of range nicely.
Hamsho misses with a double jab.
Alzado throws a leg kick but Hamsho moved away.
Lyle Alzado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alzado scores with a takedown into Hamsho's guard.
Alzado throws a strike but Hamsho rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
