Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaze Shiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksandr Fedorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaze Shiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aleksandr Fedorov! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fedorov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shiro tries to avoid it but Fedorov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shiro to the ground. Shiro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fedorov drives through with a takedown into guard. Fedorov postures up.
Fedorov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shiro swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fedorov stands up and waves to Shiro to follow him. Shiro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fedorov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shiro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fedorov somewhat. Shiro throws a wild body kick that Fedorov sees coming a mile off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fedorov gets the takedown into side control. Shiro is trying to improve his position. Fedorov is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Shiro's shoulder. That is not cool. Shiro regains half guard. Fedorov postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Shiro to stand up. A head kick from Shiro lands but Fedorov takes it in his stride. Shiro shoots and misses so Fedorov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shiro utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fedorov gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Fedorov scores a takedown into full mount! Fedorov looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fedorov pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Fedorov wants to control the pace but Shiro is squirming around nicely. Fedorov is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Shiro to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Shiro shrugs it off. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shiro is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Fedorov get's back to his feet. Shiro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fedorov sprawls well initially but Shiro persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fedorov gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shiro stopping the sweep attempt from Fedorov. Fedorov managing to control the position. Fedorov has his foot on Shiro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shiro works his way back into a safe position though. Shiro trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Shiro wants to control from the top but Fedorov keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fedorov pulls Shiro in close to prevent any damage. Fedorov manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Fedorov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Fedorov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aleksandr Fedorov dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Fedorov. Fedorov stands up. A lazy left from Shiro finds it's target. Fedorov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shiro stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Shiro with a lazy takedown attempt and Fedorov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fedorov stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fedorov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shiro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Shiro can't do much from the bottom here. Shiro parries the strikes from Fedorov easily there. Fedorov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Shiro to escape.
Fedorov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Fedorov controlling from side mount. Shiro wants to control but Fedorov postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fedorov happy to just control the position for now. Fedorov is working to tighten is grip on Shiro's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Shiro has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fedorov is really squeezing tight and eventually Shiro passes out! Fedorov breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Aleksandr Fedorov!
