Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corporal Clegg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Van Dam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Clegg might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Run Like Hell. Van Dam has chosen Beatdown - Gunman Joe as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Axel Van Dam has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Dam avoids the head kick by Clegg.
Van Dam uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clegg.
Van Dam keeps the fight on the outside.
Clegg throws a low kick but it's checked well by Van Dam.
Clegg takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Van Dam tries to score a power double leg takedown but Clegg sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Van Dam somewhat.

Van Dam throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Clegg was covering up waiting for the punch and Van Dam finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Clegg holds on and takes a little breather.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Clegg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Van Dam will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Clegg misses with an attempted mid kick.
Clegg looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Van Dam tries to advance to mount but Clegg instead regains half guard.

Clegg has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Van Dam is working away from the top position though.
Van Dam is looking to advance position but Clegg won't allow it.
