Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack McGann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Daniel Daniels has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack McGann! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGann takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Daniels gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Daniels pulls McGann in close to prevent any damage. Daniels manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McGann manages to get himself to full guard.
Daniels stops McGann from standing up. McGann keeping moving, preventing Daniels from controlling successfully. Daniels has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. McGann bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Daniels's guard. McGann postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels is trying to control the position but McGann postures up. McGann forces his way into half guard. McGann throwing shots but Daniels is blocking nicely. Daniels is trying to get back to full guard. Daniels trying to control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. McGann wants to pass to mount but Daniels is defending the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Daniels misses with a hook. McGann ducked under it nicely. Daniels scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Daniels throws a series of strikes that have McGann backpedaling.
McGann closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McGann lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. McGann has gone for a leg lock! Daniels slips out almost immediately though and dives into McGann's guard. Daniels drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and McGann dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGann tries to free his leg and advance position but Daniels is retaining full guard. McGann throws a strike but Daniels rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. McGann wants to sweep but no luck. Daniels trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Daniels with a flurry of punches that miss. Daniels throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McGann works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Daniels thows a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McGann is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A head kick misses from Daniels. Daniels fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McGann looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Daniels digs a good hook to McGann's body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Daniels!
It looks like Jack McGann has been cut. McGann fails miserably with a takedown attempt. McGann looks gassed! Daniels misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McGann.
Daniels swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Daniels darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Daniels stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Daniels wants it to stay on the feet. A punch combination from Daniels misses. Daniels scores with a nice strike. Daniels's corner calls for a 1-2. Daniels obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Daniels gets caught flat footed, as McGann shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Daniels dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jack McGann's cut. That's time! Daniels's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McGann takes a kick to the side of the head. Daniels scores with a nice head shot. Daniels thuds a left hand into McGann's body. Daniels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McGann looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Daniels wants to control but McGann is keeping busy.
McGann is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Daniels sees it coming and defends easily. Daniels avoiding damage under a succession of punches from McGann.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are battling for position here. Daniels manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Daniels not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Daniels wants to sweep but no luck. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McGann landing some decent shots from guard. McGann is looking to work some ground and pound but Daniels has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McGann throws a strike but Daniels rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Daniels got a little sloppy there for a moment and McGann has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Daniels has managed to get both his arms back between McGann's legs - danger averted. Daniels stops McGann from standing up. Daniels thows a big elbow that misses. Daniels has gone for a leg lock! McGann slips out almost immediately though and dives into Daniels's guard. McGann is pushing down on Daniels's leg trying to pass to half guard. Daniels is fighting to maintain full guard but McGann has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. McGann tries to free his leg and advance position but Daniels is retaining full guard. Daniels looking for a sweep. Not yet Daniels, not yet. McGann trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. McGann drops back, looking for a kneebar! Daniels looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Daniels looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Daniels! Daniels controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McGann dodges the ground and pound from Daniels. Daniels looking to punish the body of his opponent here but McGann is avoiding damage well.
The ground and pound from Daniels seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Daniels wants to lay and pray for a moment but McGann keeps working. McGann is pushing Daniels's head away, looking to escape. Daniels manages to hold on to the position though. You can see the frustration on McGann's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Daniels working the strikes but McGann uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close second round but I would say that Daniel Daniels will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jack McGann's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Daniels scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Daniels misses with a straight right. McGann dives in and grabs Daniels's left leg, looking for a takedown. Daniels pushes down on McGann's head and hops out. McGann moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Daniels looks for the body kick but McGann saw that one coming. Good leg kick by Daniels there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Daniels lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Daniels misses the shot to the body. Daniels lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Daniels fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Daniels, right into the meat.
McGann takes a shot right to the bread basket. Daniels connects with the punch. Daniels lands a nice leg kick that just misses McGann's sensitive parts. Daniels throws a one two combo.
Jack McGann is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Daniels scores with a punch to the head. Daniel Daniels is winning the standup battle so far. McGann takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels throws a quick inside leg kick. A left lands for Daniels. Daniels connects with a looping right hand.
Daniels lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
McGann is rocked! Daniels cracks McGann with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. McGann is still on wobbly legs! Can Daniels finish him? Daniel Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A shot to de liver by Daniels. Beautiful body shot. Daniels fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Daniels scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. McGann seems to have recovered his senses. Daniels throws a head kick but McGann moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Daniels. Decent striking displayed by Daniels there. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Daniels, as that shot connected.
Daniel Daniels is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McGann takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Daniels lands with a good body shot. Daniels slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Daniels misses the jab. McGann ducks right into an uppercut from Daniels. Daniels displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McGann. Daniels scores with a body shot.

Daniels lands with a good body shot. A head kick from Daniels lands but McGann takes it in his stride. Daniels misses the jab. Daniels scores with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGann shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Daniels as he jumps to the side. Daniel Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack McGann. Daniels scores with a push kick. Daniels throws a head kick but McGann moves out of range.
Daniels throws a sloppy head kick and McGann moves out of range easily. Daniels throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McGann sees it coming and avoids it easily. Daniels lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McGann ducks under a wild hook from Daniels. Daniels throws the left hand but McGann avoids the punch easily. Good shot there by Daniels. Daniels ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. McGann tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Daniels swivels and escapes. McGann takes one to the chin there. Daniels throws a sloppy head kick and McGann moves out of range easily. Daniel Daniels is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Daniels leaves McGann with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Daniels connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Jack McGann has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! McGann has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels jabs McGann right on the nose. McGann blinks but takes it well. Horrible takedown by McGann or perhaps it was just good defense by Daniels which made him look bad. Daniels lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Daniels lands a head shot. Daniels connects with a jab. McGann walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. A telegraphed takedown attempt from McGann is defended easily by Daniels. Daniels scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Daniels throws a combination. McGann tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Daniels scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. McGann needs to keep his hands up - Daniels had a free shot at his head there.
And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Daniels showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Daniels, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
