Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Marcelo Riberio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chance Tatum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatum comes into a darkened arena with his song building. my own summer - deftones kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chance Tatum is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riberio tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tatum is defended easily by Riberio. Tatum gets the takedown into side control. Riberio is trying to improve his position. Tatum trying to control the action but Riberio is working from the bottom. Riberio is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Tatum wants to lay and pray for a moment but Riberio keeps working. Riberio throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Riberio can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Chance Tatum showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Tatum is trying is best to control the position here. Riberio is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Tatum is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Tatum is pressing down on Riberio's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Riberio has gone for a leg lock! Tatum slips out almost immediately though and dives into Riberio's guard. Tatum showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tatum trying to control but Riberio is working from the bottom. Riberio working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tatum doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Riberio is tightening it up a little... Tatum has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Tatum reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Tatum taps out! nice BJJ there by Riberio!
