Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Queen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Joe struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Queen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Joe! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe shoots in for a takedown but Queen shows good takedown defense. Queen with a nice cross. Joe tries to clinch up but Queen circles away and keeps his distance. Queen catches Joe with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Queen lands a two punch combo.
Queen lands a jab-cross combination. Queen stalks Joe and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Joe's face. Joe staggers backwards, shaken. Queen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Queen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Queen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Joe backs up against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Joe takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Joe shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Queen as he jumps to the side. Queen scores with a decent looking hook. John Queen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Joe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Queen avoids it really well and circles away. John Queen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Joe. Joe fails in his attempt to clinch.

Joe moves in looking to clinch but Queen pushes him off. Joe takes a body punch but keeps moving. Queen punishes Joe's body with a nice straight punch. Queen with a body punch. A glancing blow. Queen is working the combinations to good effect here. Queen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Queen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Joe at a distance.

John Queen dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Queen scores with a one two! Joe had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Joe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Queen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Jimmy Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Joe. Joe is breathing heavily. Joe closes the distance but Queen moves to the side and Queen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Joe misses with a takedown and Queen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Queen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Joe's head backwards. Queen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Joe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Queen to score with a decent uppercut. Joe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Queen lands with an uppercut that bounces Joe off the cage and back into rage. Queen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Queen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Joe is trying desperately to land a takedown but Queen is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Joe. Queen scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A left and a right from Queen both land. Nice combination. Nice jab there from Queen. The crowd cheers as Queen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Joe doesn't seem phased though. John Queen is winning the standup battle so far. Queen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Queen dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Good exchange - Queen coming out on top. Joe tries for a takedown but Queen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Queen scores with a body shot.
Queen scores with a jab. John Queen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Queen scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Queen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Joe doesn't seem bothered though. A jab from Queen does it's job there. Joe takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe takes one to the chin there. Joe fails with the takedown enabling Queen to counter with a crisp jab. Queen closes the distance and lands a one-two. Queen ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Queen lands a lovely overhand right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Queen connects with a crisp jab. Joe gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Joe might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Queen has got the better of the exchanges. Joe has a takedown stuffed. John Queen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Joe. Queen scores with a body shot.

Joe has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Queen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A nice combination there by Queen.
Queen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Queen scores with a shot to the body.
Joe has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Queen finds it's way round the side to connect with Joe's head. Left hook, right uppercut from Queen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joe takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Queen lands a nice looking body shot.
Joe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Joe takes a shot right to the bread basket. Joe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Jimmy Joe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Queen cracks a nice hook into Joe's ribs.
And that's the end of the fight! John Queen showed his dominance in that final round. Well Queen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
