Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Maximilian Percello!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Percello's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Percello duly obliges.
Percello swinging wildly here.
Kim has a takedown stuffed.
Percello rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kim moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kim fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Percello sprawls well initially but Kim persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Percello wants to improve his position but Kim is controlling well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Percello stands up from Kim's guard - Percello perhaps looking for a knockout.

Percello gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kim to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Percello is looking to stand up but Kim isn't so interested in that idea.

Percello shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Percello has eaten all the pies!

Kim tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Percello's elbow.
A frustrated look appears on Percello's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Kim throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Percellos head.
Kim changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Percello fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Percello counters with a shoot takedown. Kim fights it but they end up in guard.

Maximilian Percello showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Percello takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
