Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar comes to the cage accompanied by Brock Lesnar. Cherry has chosen Municipal Waste - Headbanger Face Rip as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brock Cherry struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Cherry! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cherry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lesnar pinned against the cage. Lesnar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Cherry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lesnar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cherry somewhat. Lesnar connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Brock Cherry has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cherry dives in and grabs Lesnar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lesnar pushes down on Cherry's head and hops out. Brock Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Cherry. Lesnar leaves Cherry with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cherry looks gassed! Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up with Cherry, looking for a takedown. Lesnar pushes Cherry against the cage but Cherry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lesnar. Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Lesnar lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar throwing shots but Cherry is blocking nicely. Lesnar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cherry defending well though. Lesnar is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Lesnar lands strikes from half guard. Lesnar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lesnar is looking to advance position but Cherry won't allow it. Lesnar scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Lesnar working the head and body with strikes.

Cherry seems a little lost for a moment, as Lesnar dominates the positioning. Lesnar working the head and body with strikes. Lesnar lands some shots froms side control. Lesnar grinds an elbow into Cherry's temple. This has been an exciting period of action! A lull in the action here. Lesnar cracks Cherry with a big right hand but Cherry just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cherry keeps working. The strikes coming from Lesnar are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Lesnar is looking to take a break and control but Cherry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lesnar stands up and we're back to a striking position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cherry shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lesnar counters with a shoot takedown. Cherry fights it but they end up in guard. Lesnar throwing strikes from guard but Cherry blocks nicely. Lesnar is stalling in the full guard. Lesnar passes into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lesnar lands a nice short elbow. Lesnar trying to control the action but Cherry is working from the bottom. Cherry is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Cherry to stand up. Lesnar drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Cherry avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lesnar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lesnar lands a couple of elbows. Lesnar postures up and lands a big shot to Cherry's brow. Lesnar is looking to work some ground and pound but Cherry has wrist control. Lesnar slips nicely into half guard. Lesnar missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar with good strikes from the mount here! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lesnar is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cherry can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Lesnar is landing with some decent strikes but Cherry is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Lesnar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lesnar cracks Cherry with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lesnar trying to control but Cherry is having none of it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lesnar landing shots from mount. Lesnar dominating with strikes here. Cherry bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Cherry is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lesnar. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Lesnar sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lesnar is controlling Cherry's trapped leg to prevent Cherry from advancing to side control. Cherry not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Now he's in top in Cherry's guard. Lesnar with a nice head shot there. Lesnar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cherry works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lesnar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Lesnar decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Brock Cherry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cherry fails with the takedown and Lesnar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A decent looking cross lands there for Lesnar. Lesnar scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Cherry avoids the body shot from Lesnar.

That's going to take a lot out of Brock Cherry. Cherry gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lesnar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lesnar. Lesnar trying to control but Cherry is working from the bottom. Cherry is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag. Lesnar stands and throws Cherry's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cherry wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Lesnar cracks Cherry with an elbow. That is naaassty. Lesnar looks up at the clock and then as Cherry takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lesnar smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Cherry is trying to improve his position. Cherry is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Lesnar stands up and we're back to a striking position. Lesnar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Cherry fails with the takedown and Lesnar counters with a single leg into guard. Cherry didn't expect that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Cherry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lesnar chips away with some ground and pound. Brock Cherry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lesnar looking to pass the guard. Cherry can't keep his opponent in guard - Lesnar advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Brock Lesnar showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lesnar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
