Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Duraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake is looking to clinch but Duraes is avoiding it.
Duraes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Duraes swats away the attempt to clinch by Drake.
Duraes closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Drake did well to prevent Duraes getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Duraes connects with a nice short shot to Drake's temple.

Drake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Duraes paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Drake digs a right hand underneath Duraes's ribcage. Duraes let out a lung full of air as it connected.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Duraes is trying to force a seperation but Drake has the dominant position.
Still in the clinch, Drake scores with a nice short uppercut.

Drake has Duraes pressed against the cage, preventing Duraes from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Duraes is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Drake circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Duraes to the canvas! Duraes doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Drake keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
