Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Izakawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ikuhisa Minowaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnny Izakawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ikuhisa Minowaman!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Izakawa gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Minowaman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Izakawa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Minowaman has Izakawa in his guard.

Minowaman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Izakawa defends it easily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Minowaman gets caught flat footed, as Izakawa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Minowaman has his foot on Izakawa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Izakawa works his way back into a safe position though.
Minowaman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Izakawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Minowaman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Izakawa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Minowaman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Izakawa is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Minowaman can do anything to dispel that myth.

I would just about give that final round to Ikuhisa Minowaman.
Well Minowaman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
