Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sir Didymus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Didymus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Welcome to the TerrorDome. Manny Pacquiao is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sir Didymus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manny Pacquiao! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Didymus misses with a series of wild punches.
Didymus looks to land a left hand but Pacquiao moved out of range nicely. Didymus misses with an uppercut. Pacquiao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Didymus. Pacquiao swinging wildly here.

Pacquiao lands with a nice combination. Didymus backs away looking to recover. Pacquiao swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Didymus counters with a nice double leg into guard. Pacquiao utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Pacquiao trying to keep a closed guard but Didymus is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Didymus is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pacquiao is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pacquiao has escaped and now he's on top! Didymus looking for a sweep. Not yet Didymus, not yet. Pacquiao wants to get up but he can't break Didymus's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Didymus working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Pacquiao has passed into half guard!
Didymus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Didymus is looking to control Pacquiao's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Didymus avoid being mounted?
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Pacquiao misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Manny Pacquiao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pacquiao lands a two punch combo.

Didymus looks to score with a jab to the body but Pacquiao is just out of range. Pacquiao lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Didymus circles away quickly and effectively. Pacquiao takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Didymus slips a jab and a cross from Pacquiao.
Pacquiao throws a right hand that Didymus ducks under and follows up with a left that Didymus also avoids with ease. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Pacquiao takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Pacquiao will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Didymus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Pacquiao misses with a combination
enabling Didymus to counter with a crisp jab. Pacquiao lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Didymus closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Pacquiao tries to bum rush Didymus with a series of wild strikes but Didymus uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pacquiao throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Didymus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Pacquiao throws a series of punches but Didymus moves out of range. Didymus looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Didymus seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pacquiao is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
