The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ddurnovs scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Roy Nelson has been cut.
Nelson dives in and grabs ddurnovs's left leg, looking for a takedown. ddurnovs pushes down on Nelson's head and hops out.
Nelson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
ddurnovs is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Nelson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Nelson passes to full mount! That's big trouble for ddurnovs!

Nelson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around ddurnovs's waist but ddurnovs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nelson off to one side.
Nelson tries to score a power double leg takedown but ddurnovs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nelson somewhat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nelson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. ddurnovs has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Nelson is really squeezing tight and eventually ddurnovs passes out! Nelson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
