Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Face scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Face moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Williams avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Face.
Williams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Williams can't do much from the bottom here.
Williams is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams is letting Face control him for a moment.

Face tries for a kimura but Williams is defending well.

Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Face. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Face closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Williams did well to prevent Face getting side control.

Face is looking for a choke. Williams gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Williams manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Williams throws and elbow that misses. Face uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Williams's guard. Nice move by Face!
Face might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Face is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Williams wants to sweep here but Face controlling him for the moment.
Face stays in close to Williams's body and controls the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Face has one foot on Williams's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Face is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams.

Face drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Face decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Face misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Face clinches with his opponent.
Williams throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Williams tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Williams manages to break the clinch.

Williams gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Face advances to half guard.

Face stands up out of the half guard.
Williams has his takedown stuffed

and Face counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Face decides to stand back up. Face steps back and let's Williams get back to his feet.

Face drives through and clinches with Williams against the cage.
Face has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Face ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Face no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Face has his feet on Williams's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Williams is fighting to break Face's control of his arms but Face is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Face manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Williams manages to get himself to full guard.

That's time! Face's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Face pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Face throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams.

Face gets a takedown into half guard.

Face is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Face eventually gives up the hold.

Face decides to stand and escape the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

and Face moves into the clinch.

Face is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Williams can't fight it off and eventually Face manages to take the fight to the floor. Williams looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Face stays in close to Williams's body and controls the position.
Murder Face is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Murder Face just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Face has managed to clinch.
Face pressing his opponent against the cage.
Williams wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Williams has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Face is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Williams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Face walks away with a smile on his face. Williams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Murder Face has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hoss Williams.

Face moves into range and clinches up with Williams.

Face works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Face seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Murder Face overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Face has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Face, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
