The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joonatan moves into the clinch successfully.

Joonatan goes for an armbar but McCloud turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from McCloud.

McCloud jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Joonatan manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Joonatan throws a right hand that McCloud ducks under and follows up with a left that McCloud also avoids with ease.

Joonatan has dropped down and is working for a takedown. McCloud is trying to keep an underhook but Joonatan manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Joonatan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
McCloud is still in real trouble! Can Joonatan finish him?

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Teppo Joonatan.
Well Joonatan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
