Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Lionel!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lionel slips a jab and a cross from Crocker.
Crocker throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Crocker thows a body kick. Lionel tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Crocker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lionel.
Crocker smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Crocker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Crocker throws a right and a left that Lionel avoids nicely.
Crocker works over Lionel's head and body with a nice combination.
Crocker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lionel tries to avoid it but Crocker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lionel to the ground. Lionel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lionel dodges the punch combination from Crocker.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crocker looks to land a combination but Lionel avoids it well.
Crocker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Lionel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crocker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lionel works to advance to full mount. Crocker defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Lionel unloads with some shots from mount but Crocker bucks and avoids them well.
Lionel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Crocker is looking to escape.

Crocker has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Lionel is hanging on to Crocker's back as he tries to escape.

Crocker defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Lionel's arms.

A lull in the action here.

Lionel has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Crocker has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Crocker gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Crocker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Lionel drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Crocker dives on top into guard.
Lionel is breathing heavily.
Crocker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Crocker trying to control the position from guard on top but Lionel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lionel wants to stand but Crocker is controlling the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lionel has a closed guard, preventing Crocker from standing up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Crocker, as that shot connected.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lionel wants to control from the top but Crocker keeps moving.

Lionel gets to his feet - Crocker follows without any prompting.

Lionel is pushing down on Crocker's leg trying to pass to half guard. Crocker is fighting to maintain full guard but Lionel has managed to sneak the leg through.

Lionel gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Crocker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lionel moves away.

Lionel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lionel lands in his opponent's guard.
Crocker is trying to control the position but Lionel postures up.
Lionel passes Crocker's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Lionel with the ground and pound but Crocker uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Lionel forces his way into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Lionel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Lionel is looking to clinch.
Binley Crocker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Crocker goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Lionel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Crocker slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Lionel is stalling here. Crocker is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lionel seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Crocker has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Crocker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lionel is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Crocker stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Crocker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lionel was well out of range. Poor timing from Crocker.

and Lionel counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Crocker's guard now.

Lionel wants to free his trapped foot but Crocker is holding on for dear life with his legs.
