Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roger Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Utah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Dread Zepellin - Stairway to Heaven. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonny Utah! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Utah showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gracie.
Gracie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gracie tries to bum rush Utah with a series of wild strikes but Utah uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Gracie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Utah sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Gracie looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Utah! Gracie avoids the attempt from Utah to control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Utah can do anything to dispel that myth. Gracie wants to control the pace but Utah is squirming around nicely. Gracie working for a guillotine from mount but Utah is in no mood to give up. Utah takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie punching from mount but Utah doing a good job of avoiding damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie working for a submission but Utah is keeping him at bay. Utah wants to control but Gracie is having none of it. Gracie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Utah looks a forlorn figure.
Utah tries to reverse the position but Gracie maintains control. You get the feeling that Utah really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Utah is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Utah is wriggling around trying to escape.
Gracie controlling the pace for now. Gracie punching from mount but Utah doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie working for a guillotine from mount but Utah is in no mood to give up. Utah tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Utah is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action. Gracie is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Utah can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Gracie avoids the attempt from Utah to control. Gracie looking to control but Utah is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gracie breaks from Utah's wrist control and lands an elbow. Utah is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Utah is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action. Gracie lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gracie punching from mount but Utah doing a good job of avoiding damage. Utah takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Gracie is stalling here but it's allowed Utah to get half guard.
Gracie wants to take a breather but Utah is having none of it. Utah tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control. Gracie is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Utah! Utah wants to get back to his feet.

Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Utah is looking to escape. Utah is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Gracie locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Utah is forced to tap!
