Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matt Frederick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reymax Del Amor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Frederick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reymax Del Amor! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Amor shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Frederick sprawls well. Frederick wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Del Amor gets slowly back to his feet. Frederick has his takedown stuffed so Del Amor counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Del Amor wants to stand and escape but instead Frederick has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Del Amor looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Del Amor had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Frederick defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frederick thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Frederick drops back looking for a leg! Del Amor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Del Amor manages to kick Frederick off! Frederick jumps back into Del Amor's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frederick is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Del Amor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Frederick avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Del Amor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frederick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Del Amor looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Frederick forces his way into half guard. Frederick wants to pass the guard but Del Amor is defending well. Frederick is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Del Amor is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Frederick pulls his head out easily. Frederick is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Del Amor is just riding it out for now. Frederick eventually gives up the hold. Del Amor wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frederick is trying to work for a kimura but Del Amor is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Frederick is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Del Amor defends it well. Del Amor looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Frederick is working for a kimura but Del Amor is defending it quite comfortably.

That was a close round but I would say that Matt Frederick will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Del Amor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Frederick drops back looking for a leg! Del Amor is in trouble here! Del Amor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Frederick gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Frederick works a leg free and moves into half guard. Frederick stops Del Amor from getting back to his feet.
Frederick is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Del Amor defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frederick seems to be working for a kimura but Del Amor defends the submission attempt. Frederick is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Del Amor still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Del Amor has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Del Amor goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Frederick has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Del Amor but great work by Frederick. Del Amor explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Del Amor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Frederick counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Del Amor pushes Frederick off looking to stand but Frederick dives back in and keeps control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Del Amor looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Frederick looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Matt Frederick dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Del Amor misses with a takedown and Frederick counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Del Amor makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Del Amor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Del Amor drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Frederick dives on top into guard. Del Amor is looking for a triangle but Frederick pushes his legs off easily.

Frederick drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Frederick as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Del Amor screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Frederick! Nice submission victory there!
