Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dinero Fudge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ita Ipava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dinero Fudge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ita Ipava!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ipava is defended easily by Fudge.
Nice sprawl there from Fudge as Ipava shoots in.
Ipava shoots in looking for a takedown. Fudge tries to sprawl out of it but Ipava keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fudge manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dinero Fudge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ita Ipava.
Ipava throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fudge's waist but Fudge gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ipava off to one side.
Fudge lands with a nice body punch.
Ipava looks gassed!
Fudge darts in and clinches Ipava up against the cage.
Ipava has Fudge pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fudge manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Fudge has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ipava uses from the top position.
Ipava must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fudge is on top in guard.
Fudge throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ipava works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Fudge is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Fudge thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ipava trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Ipava keeping moving, preventing Fudge from controlling successfully.
Ipava throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Fudge drops back looking for a leg! Ipava is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ipava manages to kick Fudge off! Fudge jumps back into Ipava's guard.
Fudge thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Fudge lands with a nice combination. Ipava backs away looking to recover.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ipava.
Ipava shoots in for a takedown but Fudge shows good takedown defense.

Fudge dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fudge comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fudge scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ipava doesn't seem bothered though.

Fudge manages to pull guard.

Ipava throws a strike but Fudge rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Fudge stands up from Ipava's guard - Fudge perhaps looking for a knockout.
Fudge lands a glancing blow to the side of Ipava's head.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Fudge.
Fudge stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Fudge ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Fudge connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fudge lands with a good body shot.
Fudge shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Fudge is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ipava has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fudge has hold of Ipava's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ipava manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fudge is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ipava is surviving well by controlling Fudge's body position as best he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dinero Fudge dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ipava shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fudge counters with a straight right hand.
Ipava is trying desperately to land a takedown but Fudge is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ipava.
Ipava looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fudge has hold of Ipava's hands but Ipava slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Fudge is pressing down on Ipava's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Fudge is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ipava can do to turn this around?

Fudge has his foot on Ipava's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ipava works his way back into a safe position though.

Fudge pushes a forearm under Ipava's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ipava is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
