Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Mangello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Blunderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blunderson has chosen The Best Out as his entrance music. Dan Blunderson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Mangello! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Blunderson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mangello throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mangello fails to land the takedown. Mangello tries for a takedown but Blunderson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mangello fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Blunderson sprawls well initially but Mangello persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blunderson is not content to let Mangello control the position. Mangello is thwarting Blunderson's attempts to control the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Blunderson looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blunderson won't allow Mangello to pass to mount. Blunderson is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Blunderson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Blunderson is trying to maintain the position but Mangello is very close to passing his half guard. Blunderson is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Blunderson fails with an attempt to clinch.
A solid leg kick lands there for Blunderson.
Blunderson misses with a wild combination.
Blunderson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mangello will feel that in the morning. Blunderson doesn't manage to clinch there - Mangello circles away.
Blunderson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Blunderson throws a push kick but Mangello slaps the foot to one side. Mangello moves into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mangello is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Blunderson pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Mangello. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mangello's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Blunderson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mangello is out of range. Blunderson throws a head kick that misses. Blunderson wants to clinch and Mangello counters with a nice double leg into side control. Blunderson won't be happy with that. Blunderson tries to buck Mangello off but Mangello is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice sprawl there from Blunderson as Mangello shoots in. Mangello tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Blunderson swivels and escapes. Mangello shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blunderson pinned against the cage. Blunderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Mangello. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blunderson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mangello's head.
It looks like Tony Mangello has been cut. Blunderson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Mangello counters with a takedown into side control. Blunderson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Blunderson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mangello lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mangello working away. Blunderson is looking to regain half guard here but Mangello keeps moving and retains side control. Mangello in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blunderson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Blunderson trying to control here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mangello connects with a nice short shot to Blunderson's temple. Blunderson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Mangello preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tony Mangello will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tony Mangello's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Mangello avoids the body shot from Blunderson.
Blunderson misses with a body kick. Dan Blunderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blunderson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Blunderson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick by Blunderson misses and Mangello counters with a nice uppercut. Mangello shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blunderson's guard. Blunderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mangello is one step ahead there. Mangello is pushing down on Blunderson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Blunderson is fighting to maintain full guard but Mangello has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blunderson wants to control but Mangello is keeping busy and won't allow it. Mangello not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ground and pound from Mangello.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Blunderson tries to roll over but Mangello keeps him under control. Mangello sitting and controlling from the half guard. Blunderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mangello. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mangello connects with a nice short shot to Blunderson's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blunderson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mangello. Blunderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mangello passes the guard and advances to mount! Dan Blunderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Blunderson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mangello with the ground and pound from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Mangello showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mangello, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
