Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jussi Kantola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sullivan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Electric Worry. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Jussi Kantola has been cut.
Kantola throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sullivan's waist but Sullivan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kantola off to one side.
Sullivan misses with an attempted mid kick.
Sullivan digs a good body shot into Kantola's ribs.
Kantola ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sullivan moves away.
Sullivan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kantola looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kantola gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Kantola looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sullivan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Sullivan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kantola's hands.

Sullivan throws a series of punches but Kantola avoids them all with ease.

Kantola gets caught flat footed, as Sullivan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Sullivan throws and elbow that misses. Kantola uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sullivan's guard. Nice move by Kantola!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kantola might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sullivan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Kantola is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kantola stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sullivan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sullivan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Ryan Sullivan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sullivan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kantola is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sullivan avoids the attempt from Kantola to control.
Kantola holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Sullivan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Kantola is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Sullivan thowing shots but they're missing.
Sullivan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Sullivan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kantola on the ground.
Kantola tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Sullivan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kantola avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sullivan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Kantola is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Kantola is looking to improve his position.
Kantola moves into full guard.
Kantola is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sullivan is aware though and is defending well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Kantola manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kantola prevents Sullivan from getting the reversal.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kantola trying to control but Sullivan is having none of it.

Sullivan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kantola jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sullivan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sullivan and Kantola has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kantola is looking to take a break and control but Sullivan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well Sullivan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
