Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nunu Brice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Froyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Froyd has chosen Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe as his entrance music. Damien Froyd struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nunu Brice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damien Froyd!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Froyd fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brice avoids it really well and circles away.
Froyd fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brice, pushing him back against the cage.
Brice is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Froyd pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Froyd can't break the clinch.
Brice jumps into guard, dragging Froyd to the mat.
Brice keeping full guard, as Froyd tries to pass.
Brice keeping moving, preventing Froyd from controlling successfully.
Brice pulls Froyd in to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brice pushes Froyd off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Brice throws a low kick but it's checked well by Froyd.
The fight stays on the outside here - Froyd looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A head kick misses from Froyd.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brice throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brice lands a jab to Froyd's midsection.
Froyd looks gassed!
Brice pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nunu Brice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Froyd showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brice.
Brice moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Damien Froyd has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Froyd takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Brice throws a leg kick but Froyd checks it.
Brice lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Froyd can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Brice and Froyd drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Brice.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nunu Brice!
