The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Degaulle shoots in for a takedown but James shows good takedown defense.
Degaulle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. James looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Degaulle tries to stand but James is controlling his head.
James is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Degaulle is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James is squirming around, avoiding Degaulle's attempts to control the action.

James is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Degaulle can't fight it off and eventually James manages to take the fight to the floor. Degaulle looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Degaulle swivels though and keeps the full guard.

James uses his free foot to push down on Degaulle's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Degaulle.

David James showed his dominance in that final round.
Well James has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
