Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holden shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in karl's guard.
karl keeping moving, preventing Holden from controlling successfully.
Holden gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Holden tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
karl looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Holden closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Holden lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
karl tries to strike from the bottom.
karl wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Holden trying to control the position from guard on top but karl is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Holden won't allow karl to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holden wants to control from the top but karl keeps moving.
karl is pulling down on Holden's head to control his posture.
karl is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Holden rolls with it to try and escape but karl cranks on the arm and Holden is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
