The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niska decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
McCullough has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Niska is working away from the top position though.
McCullough won't allow Niska to pass to mount.
McCullough holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Niska is working for a submission of some sort.
McCullough tries to roll over but Niska keeps him under control.
Niska seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. McCullough is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
