Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Blitzkrieg Bop. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Gray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Durden! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gray keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big left from Durden misses. Gray drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Joe Gray has been cut. Durden pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Durden jabbing away but nothing is landing. Durden circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gray closes this distance looking for a takedown but Durden circles away. Gray fails with a takedown attempt. Durden tests Gray's chin there with a solid looking shot. Durden is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gray. Gray feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Durden wants to stand up but Gray is controlling him. Gray trying to control the position from guard on top but Durden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gray trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gray throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Durden works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gray wants to control from the top but Durden keeps moving. Gray wants to stand but Durden has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Durden utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gray lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Durden stalks Gray and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gray's face. Gray staggers backwards, shaken. Durden throws a hook but Gray avoids it easily. Durden loads up on a big right hand but Gray slips the punch. Gray shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Durden pinned against the cage. Durden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Gray. That's going to take a lot out of him. Durden loads up on a big right hand but Gray slips the punch. Durden's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Durden duly obliges.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durden lands with a straight right. Gray didn't see that one coming. Tyler Durden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Durden stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Durden wants it to stay on the feet. Durden lands a nice hook to Gray's body. Gray takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Durden misses with a hook. Gray ducked under it nicely. Gray slips a jab and a cross from Durden.
Gray takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Durden dodges the punch combination from Gray.
Gray shoots in for a double leg but Durden sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Gray closes the distance and clinches. Gray has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Gray tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gray jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Durden walks away with a smile on his face. Gray gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Gray takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Gray is breathing heavily. Durden swinging wildly here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gray fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Durden avoids it really well and circles away. Gray slips a straight right by Durden. Durden scores with a nice strike. Durden thows a left - swing and a miss! Durden stuns Gray with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gray is looking to clinch. Tyler Durden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gray throws a body punch but Durden moves out of range. Gray misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Durden lands a two punch combo.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Durden throws a shot from downtown. Gray moves away and avoids it. Gray moves into the clinch. Gray tries to pull guard but Durden holds him up against the cage and eventually Gray drops back down to his feet.
Gray is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Durden pulls him back up using the underhooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Durden dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joe Gray's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Durden scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A jab from Durden misses. Gray doesn't manage to clinch there - Durden circles away.
Gray defending well as Durden loads up on a big left hand. Durden looks to land a left hand but Gray moved out of range nicely. Durden throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gray stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gray is trying hard to land a takedown here. Durden sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Durden is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gray. Gray dodges the punch combination from Durden.
Durden fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Durden ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Durden bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gray's head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gray uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Durden. Durden throws a shot from downtown. Gray moves away and avoids it. Gray takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Gray lands with a slapping head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gray wants to clinch. Gray shoots in for a takedown but Durden shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A shot to de liver by Durden. Beautiful body shot. Gray ducks under a wild hook from Durden. Gray avoids a punch combination nicely.
Donk. Durden catches Gray right on the button with a cross. Durden scores with a jab. Gray acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Gray fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Gray. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gray gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Durden lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Durden swings for the body but Gray moves out of range.
Gray shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Durden but Durden pushes him off and we're back to square one. Durden misses with a looping left. Gray slips a jab from Durden. Gray blocks a jab. Durden circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gray fails in his attempt to clinch. Durden thuds a left hand into Gray's body. Durden scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Durden cracks Gray with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Durden throws a sloppy body shot
and Gray moves into the clinch. Durden's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Durden misses with the combination.
Durden is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Gray looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Durden waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gray. Gray walks into a stiff left hand from Durden. Gray doesn't manage to clinch there - Durden circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Durden throws a nice looking combination but Gray bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gray staying out of range there. Joe Gray is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Durden works Gray's body with a nice hook. Durden lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gray circles away quickly and effectively. Durden throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Durden slaps away a takedown attempt from Gray, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gray changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Durden tries to avoid it but Gray manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Durden to the ground. Durden escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gray tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gray takes one on the chin but seems OK.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gray feints and then cracks Durden's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Durden down. Gray takes the fight into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Durden showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Joe Gray's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Nice takedown defense from Durden. No joy for Gray on that attempt. Durden pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Gray tries to score a power double leg takedown but Durden sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gray somewhat. Gray walks into a straight right hand from Durden. Horrible takedown by Gray or perhaps it was just good defense by Durden which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Gray. That's going to take a lot out of him. Durden works Gray's body with a nice hook. Gray takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Gray slips a straight right by Durden. Durden throws the left hand but Gray avoids the punch easily. Durden lands with a good body shot. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Durden throws a right and a left that Gray avoids nicely. Durden throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Oh Gray is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Durden is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Durden scores with a jab to the body. Gray takes a swing at Durden's ribcage but misses. Gray seems to have got his legs back now. Durden lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A jab lands there for Durden. A punch lands to the side of Gray 's head but he takes it in his stride. A lazy left from Durden finds it's target. Durden rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gray moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A big right from Durden misses. Durden leaves Gray with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gray fails with a takedown attempt.

and Gray counters with a single leg into guard. Durden didn't expect that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gray won't allow Durden to sweep him here. Gray pushes down on Durden's leg and manages to get into half guard. Gray trying to control the action but Durden is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Durden can do anything to dispel that myth. Gray stalling away here and it's allowed Durden to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Tyler Durden is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durden wants to get back to his feet but Gray is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gray throwing strikes but missing. Gray pushes down on Durden's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gray is keen to just control but Durden is a slippery customer. Gray thows a huge punch but Durden dodges it nicely.
Gray stalling away here and it's allowed Durden to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Durden keeping moving, preventing Gray from controlling successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyler Durden comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Durden winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
