Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephan Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Salt!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salt shoots in but no luck this time.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Salt moves into range and clinches up with Lee.
Lee goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Salt drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Salt is trying to drag Lee to the mat but Lee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Stephan Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Salt.

Salt manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Salt has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Let's hope that Salt has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Salt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lee defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Salt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Salt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Salt wants to sweep but no luck.
Lee has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Salt lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lee!

Salt looking for a guillotine from mount but Lee is having none of it.
Salt looks gassed!
Lee squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Salt controlling the position easily from mount.

Salt looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Lee bucks up and throws Salt to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Stephan Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lee lands a big head kick that sends Salt tumbling to the mat! Lee takes a step backwards and waves Salt back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Salt is rocked!
Salt is holding his hands too far apart here. Lee throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Salt is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stephan Lee!
