The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitefield changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moskvil tries to avoid it but Whitefield manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moskvil to the ground. Moskvil escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Moskvil shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Whitefield manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Moskvil wants to pass the guard but Whitefield is keeping the position.
Moskvil's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Whitefield has a closed guard, preventing Moskvil from standing up.

Moskvil controls from within his opponent's guard.
Moskvil has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Whitefield is proving hard to escape from.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Whitefield shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Moskvil napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Whitefield wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Moskvil, who protects the arm well.
Moskvil is trying to get back to half guard.
Moskvil is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Moskvil manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Whitefield tries to free his leg and advance position but Moskvil is retaining full guard.
Moskvil tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Whitefield wants to control from the top but Moskvil keeps moving.

Moskvil bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Whitefield's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Moskvil wants to control from the top but Whitefield keeps moving.
Moskvil drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Whitefield dives on top into guard.

Whitefield wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moskvil keeps working.

Whitefield gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Moskvil counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Whitefield!
Whitefield is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Moskvil locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Whitefield is forced to tap!
