Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkinson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Raffoul avoids it really well and circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hopkinson is defended easily by Raffoul.
Raffoul shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hopkinson as he jumps to the side.

Raffoul closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Raffoul decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Raffoul misses with a series of wild punches.

Hopkinson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Hopkinson wants to take a breather but Raffoul manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Hopkinson.

Raffoul is looking to sinch up a triangle. Hopkinson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Raffoul's body to avoid the submission. Raffoul has instead reached around Hopkinson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Raffoul arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
