Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fricke moves into the clinch successfully.
Silva has Fricke pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Silva pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fricke tumbling to the mat - Silva dives into Fricke's guard.

Silva is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Silva manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fricke falls off balance throwing a combination
and Silva counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fricke!

Fricke tries to lock up and control but Silva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A nice elbow there by Silva.
Fricke sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fricke doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
