Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tysen Fricke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anderson Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tysen Fricke! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fricke moves into the clinch successfully.
Silva has Fricke pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Silva pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fricke tumbling to the mat - Silva dives into Fricke's guard. Silva trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fricke looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fricke looking to control.
Silva won't allow Fricke to get back to his feet. Silva is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Silva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Silva wants to pass the guard but Fricke is keeping the position. Silva lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Silva looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Silva with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fricke manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Silva manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fricke trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Silva tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fricke tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard. Fricke is looking to stand up but Silva won't let him. Silva looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fricke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Silva is breathing heavily. Fricke avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fricke looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Silva stays in close to Fricke's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Silva postures up in Fricke's guard and throws a big left but Fricke blocks it. Silva throwing strikes but missing. Silva in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva trying to control but Fricke is working from the bottom. Fricke manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Silva manages to get himself to full guard.
Fricke not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fricke wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard. Silva is adopting a defensive guard. Fricke postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silva won't allow Fricke to get back to his feet. Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fricke wants to control but Silva postures up. Fricke sneaks back into half guard. Silva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Fricke is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Silva is keeping busy.

Fricke trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fricke would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fricke is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control. Fricke looking to pass the guard. Fricke throws a strike but Silva rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Silva sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Fricke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silva throws a strike but Fricke rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Silva wriggles free and stands up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A clash of legs there as Fricke blocks the low kick. Silva misses with a two punch combination.

Fricke throws a body kick that misses. Silva tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Fricke counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva! Silva can't escape the position.
Fricke avoids the attempt from Silva to control. Silva tries to get back to half guard but can't. Silva is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Silva is squirming around, avoiding Fricke's attempts to control the action. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva tries to hold on but Fricke postures up. Fricke trying to control but Silva is having none of it. Fricke takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Silva regains half guard. Fricke trying to control from half guard but Silva is working away. Silva works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Silva manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Fricke falls off balance throwing a combination
and Silva counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fricke! Silva controlling the position easily from mount. Fricke tries to lock up and control but Silva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Silva. Fricke sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Fricke wants to get back to his feet.
Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fricke doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva. Silva wants to work for an arm triangle but Fricke is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Silva stalling away here and it's allowed Fricke to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Anderson Silva showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
